For more than four decades, Mr. Lewin has been at the forefront of the engineering and information technology fields, specializing in the gaming, hospitality, financial services healthcare, medical device and retail industries. Mr. Lewin is a renowned expert in marketing technology; intellectual property development, management and protection; product development (software and hardware manufacturing); technical organization management; infrastructure architecture, and IT system implementation. He has also shown prowess in general business growth management and has successfully grown established and troubled small technology companies.

Mr. Lewin is also a serial entrepreneur, having founded 6 start-up technology companies. He is currently working on another start-up venture that he has co-founded. This company invests in and promotes early stage ventures.

Mr. Lewin currently serves as the interim CEO of PneumaCare Limited, and Cambridge UK medical device manufacturer. As Chief Executive and Technology Officer at NEWave, he led the company’s 30+ employees and contractors to create innovative solutions for the company’s clients across North America.  During his 18 month tenure, company sales more than doubled to historic levels, implementation and development processes were finely tuned, and the company was completely re-branded.

Mr. Lewin is a globally sought-after consultant. As an industry consultant, he serves his clients in database architecture; statistical modeling; CRM technology; gaming system design and implementation; game design and manufacture; website design and marketing; and custom software design and development; infrastructure architecture; intellectual property development and protection; and has served as an expert witness on software patent and contract cases.

Mr. Lewin also served as Chief Technology Officer for Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc., where he lead the establishment of the corporation’s centralized IT department; directed and implemented the corporation’s technology direction; and oversaw IT functions at their international and domestic properties.

Mr. Lewin has held technical and executive management positions for leading companies including Chevron Chemical Company, International Game Technology, Inc., and Datalytica, Inc., a systems integration firm which he co-founded. Among other start-ups, he co-founded a successful database marketing software company, DataDesigns, Inc., which was acquired by Group 1 Software, Inc. (now a subsidiary of Pitney-Bowes), where he was retained as the Chief Technology Officer.

Mr. Lewin was the recipient of the prestigious 2012 Gaming and Leisure Magazine Phil LaBelle Lifetime Achievement Award.  He has also been named one of Global Gaming Business' Annual 25 People to Watch in the Gaming Industry in 2013.

A published author in several trade magazines and a named inventor on multiple international patents, Mr. Lewin holds a BA in Economics from Reed College.
